SKI SLOPE 


Our Ski Slope is available for Snow Tubing All Year Round.  Snow Tubing is included as part of our Birthday Party and General Group Packages.  It can also be booked as a stand alone activity for small groups and families.  Snow Tubing must be pre-booked and this can be done by giving us a call at 021 4550511.

Ski & Snowboard Lessons.


Our slope is ideal if you are new to snowsports Or returning after an absence of snow under your feet.  For those going abroad our lessons are ideal to get you prepared and Ski-Fit for the mountains.  By taking lessons before you go, you will not only avoid the cost of lessons abroad you will also be fitter to get the most out of your time on the slopes.

If you are not going abroad, Skiing and Snowboarding is a great new activity on your doorstep for you to try out and enjoy.  Skiing is available for 5 year olds and upwards.  Snowboarding is available for 9 year olds and upwards

All Lessons must be pre-booked and are available from October to March.

Private Lessons.
If you would like to have the slope and instructor booked exclusively just for you, book in for a private lesson. Private lessons are for one hour and are €40 for 1 person, €70 for 2 people and €95 for 3 people.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Q.  Do we need snow to Ski/Snowboard?
A.  No.  The Slope is made from an artificial surface and does not require snow.
Q.  Is all the equipment provided?
A.  Yes all Skiing/Snowboarding equipment is provided and is included in the cost.
Q.  What do I need to wear?
A.  It is advisable that you wear long sleeves, long pants, long socks and dress appropriately for the existing weather conditions.
Q.  How long are the lessons?
A.  All lessons include 20-30 minutes for the correct sizing and fitting of equipment.  There will be 90 minutes on the slope and 10-15 minutes after to take off the equipment.
Q.  Do I need to wear Gloves?
A.  Yes Gloves are essential to protect your hands from grazing when you fall.  Bring your own gloves but they do not have to be special ski gloves.
Q.  How many can Ski/Snowboard at a time?
A.  A maximum of 8 will be on the slope at any one time.
Q.  If my group is larger than 8 what will the others be doing?
A.  For groups larger that 8 a program of activities will be put together to included our other Adventure based and Sports based activities.
Q.  What is the Maximum number for Skiing/Snowboarding that can be catered for in a day?
A.  48 can be catered for in a 7.5 hour day. E.g. 9.30am to 5pm.
Q.  What is the age limit?
A.  The lower age limit is 5 years of age for Skiing and 9 years for Snowboarding and there is no upper age limit for either.
Q.  Do I need to have Skiing/Snowboarding experience?
A.  No.  The program caters for complete beginners and can be adapted for those who have Skied/Snowboarded before.
Q.  If I fall will it hurt?
A.  No.  There is a built in shock pad under the surface to make sure you have a soft landing.
Q.  What if it Rains?
A.  The Ski Slope is safe to use in all weather and classes wil go ahead unless it is deemed to be extreme by Centre Management.
